Since the 70s show the necessity of wearing seat belts at all times to ward off a possible accident or a mere slowdown.
However, it has also shown that in case of accident or sudden stop simple weight of an adult can reach between 3 and 5 tons and a pregnant woman this would mean that the fetus, positioned just ahead, given a strong blow to the moment of impact, which can cause serious internal problems to the mother, breaking the spine of the fetus or even an abortion.
To break this vicious circle HTS – a Norwegian company specialized in safety products for children, launched the BeSafe market after years of research, development and exhaustive testing. BeSafe is a simple device that puts the car seat belt comfortably below the belly, without altering the performance characteristics of seat belt, and avoid any danger to the fetus, while protecting the mother.
Solving the problem however is not much, no matter how good the product, if it is not known to moms who are at risk of improperly employing such an essential as is the belt.
It’s amazing the general ignorance and lack of information out there about the proper use of seat belts during pregnancy and is therefore the duty of all who are in a position to communicate with this sector to address the issue of continuous to achieve the objective: to protect pregnant women traveling by car.
