Preventing Stretch Marks

The word comes from the Latin groove and basically consists of lines of skin atrophy albicantes or elongated shape, projection, flat or depressed that seems due to tearing and stretching of the skin.

In the market now you can find many brand names that promise to prevent and smooth-as feared-splines, these white roads that parade through the dermis and denote the fluctuation of our weight.

To be able to help nature regenerate the damage caused by the grooves, it is desirable to avoid using hot water during bathing, but can warm a bit, especially if you live in a very cold country. Use a paste with Ph neutral soap, glycerine-based or vitamin E.

Lather your body once a day. If for any reason, you want to shower again at the end of the day, try to use the soap to cool only the armpits and genitals, rinse the rest of the body with fresh water. Be sure to remove the whole layer of skin oils.

Dry off with a soft towel, without rubbing, rather giving pat, so your body still retains some of the moisture and easily absorb moisturizers. Take advantage of the following times, to give a brief massage with the lotion from the neck down, especially on elbows, legs and ankles.

It is highly desirable moisturizer coated with 4 to 5 times a day the areas where stretch marks tend to appear, breasts, abdomen, buttocks, calves, groin and thighs. Some women may even have stretch marks on their forearms.

Use a neutral or appropriate lotion to your skin type at least 2 times a day. If mild irritation or intolerance to the product, see your doctor.
